Kenya has invited tenders for the, “…design, manufacture, supply, delivery, erection, testing and commissioning of 10 MW Ngong II Wind Power Project,” according to the daily newspaper, Daily Nation.

The east African country received a €20-million loan from Spain in order to pay for the project and the responsibility for picking the contractor will lie with the Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen), which already generates about 77% of Kenya’s electricity output.
