Pizza gaining popularity in Kenya

Pizza restaurants in Kenya are experiencing increased patronage as more outlets begin to profit from rising demand, Business Daily reports.

Pizza businesses confirm that they have seen a growth in demand over the past years which in turn led to fresh investments.

Managing director of Debonairs Pizza, Azam Samanani says pizza is an acquired taste and that his company has seen a growth in the Kenyan public's appetite for pizzas.

Industry players have lately been intensifying their marketing campaigns in a bid to draw more customers.

New outlets are continuing to be opened in Nairobi and companies such as Debonairs and Pizza Inn are planning to expand to other towns in Kenya.
